STEP 1
Use the back of your axe to drive one metal rod into the log, ensuring it goes 20mm-30mm deep.
STEP 2
Repeat this process with the second rod, positioning it so the bristles of both rods face each other overlapping slightly into each other.
STEP 3
Place the log to be split upright in the middle, between the bristles of the rods.
STEP 4
With the log in a vertical position, use your axe to chop/split the log. Once the split pieces are removed, the bristles will return to their original position.
